Inshore UK: current conditions forecast for coastal waters of the United Kingdom are available from the UK Met Office site by clicking on the icon of the British Isles to the left.  This provides detailed 24 hour forecasts for each of 16 coastal sea areas up to 12 miles offshore.  

Shipping Forecast: Offshore Waters for 24 hours covering the North Sea and, in the Atlantic from the Norwegian coast at Bergen, via the Faeroe Isles and southern Iceland down the west of Scotland, Ireland, England (including the Irish sea),France, Spain and Portugal.

Commercialism of national weather bureaus has meant the general removal of free charts and forecasts. However we try here to compensate for this.

The European Centre for Medium Range Weather Forecasts has some interesting sites that are available on a random viewing basis but are usually worth a visit just to see what is on offer (free) today.   Click on the image that appears in the top left hand corner of their screen.

Tidal information for your chosen port location  direct from the UK Hydrographic Office absolutely free. not many offers like this still around - presented as a 7 day tide prediction plot for today plus up to 6 ahead and also as simple table. Use it in conjunction with annual tables. 

Tidal predictions for hundreds of sites in UK and Ireland (indeed worldwide) from the Hydrographic Office. the information is presented for seven days (today + 6) with a nice sine daily flow diagram and tables.
