We include here some thoughts and, we hope, useful information associated with the N.E. Atlantic fishery.  Rather than simply repeat data readily available on other sites we have attempted to consolidate information to give an overview or stimulate interest.

In addition we shall, where possible, provide a free source of facts that are otherwise available only on subscription sites or through obscure academic or political sources.

The fish identification table includes images and the common names in each main European fishing language. 

Weather information is always useful and through the links provided a range of services can be accessed from a selection of national meteorological and academic sites.
